Hi guys, here is my little project which help photographers and other art people to display their works. Project Flash based on my PicasaFlexAPI and displays photos posted on Google Picasa with nice GUI and with some extra features. I decided to make my custom portfolio after I tried DA portfolio, I liked it very much, but I invisible to others people except DA subscribers, so I decided to make my own. BTW I would be really great if DA would have own open API I would make an DAFlexAPI immediately

How does it works:

To start working with Picasa Portfolio you need first to have own web page, where you can upload SWF files.

Then you need to create your own html page or embed Picasa Portfolio into existing one.

To help you with I've created little application which generated appropriate HTML code.

As you see in Generator you can customize multiple parameters:

* title,
* slogan,
* footer,
* background gradient,
* thumbnails sizes,
* background image (supports JPG and transparency in PNG) ,
* disabpe/enable titles/captions,
* set text color

- main things like your Google Picasa username and desired album are required!

When you click Generate button, HTML code with your custom settings will appear in Text Area, you just need to select all text "Right Mouse Click - >Select ALL", then Copy.

Create blank HTML page in lets say Notepad, and paste selection, save and upload to your webpage / hosting.

Then you need to download PicasaPortfolio.zip unzip it and upload PicasaPortfolio.swf to the same location.
